Moving

Moving to Branson was crazy! Moving with children can be hectic no matter when or where you move. There were some fun and sweet moments in the mist of the choas. Here are a few pictures that capture some of the sweetness. The first picture is of Benjamin packing up his toys on his own. Thanks to our friend Laurie we had new crayons to color on the boxes with, and it was good entertainment. They colored and played inside the boxes, -always a fun toy, big empty boxes are. The next picture is Brody with my Young Life friend Jamie who the boys love. Jamie was very helpful during the move. She took the boys to the park and played with them a lot while we were packing up. She has been a sweet blessing to our family and we will miss her very much, especially me. Then there is the big yellow truck that was a huge hit with the boys.
While Ray was driving the big yellow truck to Branson and unloading it with my sweet mother, me and the boys went to Jackson, TN for a few days. The last few pictures are of our time with our best friends the Spann's. Leslie and I took the kids to the train museum so that Benjamin and Brody could have some time playing with their best friend Brayden or as Brody calls him "BB". It was a sweet time!

We Moved to Branson

Branson, MO is our new home! It's crazy to think that this is now home but so far we have enjoyed exploring our new town. The boys love their new home and the new adventure that comes from living in the woods. Our house sits on a property with 13 other log cabins in a very woody area that is right across the street from the theme park Silver Dollar City. What more could you want as a child, especially as a boy. Woods and rollercosters, what a great combo! So, here are a few pictures of our house and the boys with their favorite discovery so far, stick bugs. Brody calls every bug a "Buggy". We are greatful for the opportunity to follow God's leading here to Discipleship Focus and to take our children on this adventure. We are thankful for the many prayers and encouraging words that we have recieved during the process of hearing Gods voice. We can't wait to see what he does with our family and individually in our lives here with this ministry. We are blessed to be play a role in the discipleship of college students. Please continue to pray for us as we lead young men and women to the feet of Jesus.

Benjamin Rocking!

Benjamin learned a song at Vacation Bible School. The words are "On the boomerang express it all comes back to Jesus." This was his spin on the song.

Easter Fun

The first two pictures are from a free Easter Egg Hunt at a big park here in Southaven. We were late for the actual egg hunt, which is not really something you want to be late for. Benjamin didn't really know the difference because they gave him eggs at the gate when we went in to play on the big blow ups. One of our favorite things about Brody is to discover all his funny faces in pictures we've taken and if you look closely he has one in the picture with the goat his eyes are huge but the best is in the picture of him and Benjamin. He is so funny!

On Easter morning after church we went to another park here in Southaven called Central park and took a few family pics in the cold wind. Hope you enjoy!

Winter Wonder Land

12 inches, Who new it could snow that much in Tennessee. We were headed home to MS after Brody's party in TN and got snowed in at the Spann's. We took the kids on a walk down the street because they couldn't play in the yard, it was too deep. Fun times in the snow but Benjamin always ends up crying by the end because he's cold. It will be better when he's older I hope.

Brody's Birthday

Brody had his first Birthday and celebrated with the family and our best friend's the Spann's. He loved the cupcake that was bright red.
